Mofor George Atangcho, is a seasoned expert in capacity building and development communication. With a diverse career spanning several decades, Atangcho has contributed significantly to various sectors, driving sustainable development initiatives across Cameroon.
His career highlights includes being the founder of the professional short courses at the Catholic University Institute in Buea and Douala, focusing on capacity building. He also served as a consultant at ACTIVSPACES (ITHub), overseeing sales and project management. He has been the lead Consultant of the Nigeria-Cameroon Trade, Tourism, and Culture Week in Douala and served as a consultant trainer/project manager at the PAIDWA Business Incubator. Atangcho holds board positions at Nkong Credit for Development and the Small Business Development Center in Buea, playing pivotal roles in supervising and implementing policies and programs. He has served as a lecturer at Biaka University Institute of Buea and Catholic University Institute, Buea, he designed and delivered courses in health care management and entrepreneurship, respectively. Atangcho pursued advanced studies, including a master’s in economic sociology from the University of Douala and a master’s in medical anthropology. He also engaged in various training programs and obtained certifications in areas such as microfinance, public advocacy, and computer applications.
