Cecilia Nchangnwi

Cecilia is building a career in Social Finance: Using Entrepreneurship and Microfinance for inclusive economic development. Haven gone through too many challenges as a young girl and woman, seeing the challenges her widowed mother went through because of her vulnerability, her focus is on women economic empowerment. Her passion in community development has led her to many scholarship awards including the MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program under the Sustainable Microfinance Development Program in 2013 for Ghana. She is a beneficiary of the privileged African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative – AWEC training program of 2020 on scholarship. A beneficiary of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research Online training program on Gender, Women’s Leadership and Mentoring in July, 2021. She also took lead in training of 100 youths in Business Management and Income Generating Activities startup of African Dream sponsored by the U.S Embassy of Cameroon 2020-2021. Presently one of the lead trainers in the 2022 Cameroon U.S Embassy grant award to African Dream to further train 150 youths on Entrepreneurship in 2022. Cecilia has over 10 years work experience with various structures and has skills in areas of community capacity building, Program Design and Implementation, Projects Proposals and Management and overall Office Management. She loves any opportunity that will help her contribute to institutional growth, social and community development and further building her career. Her most pressing project is the “Academy for Business and Femalepreneurship” focused on empowering 100 women in 2022 on Tech-Entrepreneurship in Bamenda to help recover from our hard-hit armed conflict and the Covid-19 Pandemic consequences.
